Community Resource Project, Inc. provides weatherization through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which provides a variety of services intended to promote the use of safe and clean energy in households living within the disadvantaged communities of the counties of Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba. This unique complimentary program is offered through the State of California Department of Community Service and Development.
Once you meet certain eligibility criteria, including income qualifications and location of your residence, Community Resource Project, Inc. sends out its qualified and certified assessors to determine what energy products are available for your home. These improvements can save you money on your utility bills to achieve better energy efficiency. They are installed at ZERO cost to you!
