2 November Sacramento non-profit Community Resource Project Provides FREE Winter Weatherization November 2, 2016By CRP Weatherization PG&E, SMUD, Weatherization 0 In conjunction with PG&E and SMUD, the Community Resource Project is proud to announce free weatherization as the cold winter season approaches for low-income renters and homeowners in selected areas. “The need is tremendous and with the winter storms coming, home weatherization can reduce utility bills and save costly potential repair bills” said Eric Esquivel, program director for Community Resource Project. Assisting low-income households in the Sacramento, Sutter and Yuba counties has always been a focus for this organization. “It’s important to get the word out to those that can benefit most from these free services. People don’t realize that we’re an authorized non-profit by PG&E and SMUD to provide these services,” he continued. Weatherization can include window replacement, draft repair by doors and windows and much more. Community Resource Project even has a free solar installation program to help reduce utility cost.
