Community Resource Project, Inc.’s Energy Installation Basic Training course is a four-week program designed to introduce you to the starting skills and concepts needed to work within the weatherization industry. Participants will attend interactive classroom instruction, hands-on lab activities, and real-world weatherization installation projects. Minimal prior experience necessary! Our curriculum was created by industry experts and incorporates the latest energy efficiency technologies, so you can be confident you are getting relevant, comprehensive training. You will graduate with enhanced energy efficiency knowledge, hands-on installation experience, and valuable employer connections that will help launch your weatherization career! Plus, this training will support you from recruitment to job placement, providing resume-building, soft skills training, and job search assistance! Stipends will be awarded once training milestones have been achieved. To receive the full stipend, trainees must pass the final exam at the conclusion of the four-week program.
